1. About Grim Bazaar

Grim Bazaar is a community-driven platform for Magic: The Gathering enthusiasts in South Africa. The site facilitates card trading, auctions, bundles, deck building, and collection management between players. Grim Bazaar does not sell Magic: The Gathering cards or products directly, but may charge fees or commissions on certain services such as auctions and bundles.

Magic: The Gathering, including card names, card artwork, mana symbols, set symbols, and all associated imagery, is the property of Wizards of the Coast LLC, a subsidiary of Hasbro, Inc. All rights reserved.

Grim Bazaar is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast or Hasbro in any way.

Card images displayed on this site are sourced from the Scryfall API and are used solely for identification and reference purposes to help players recognise and manage their collections. We do not claim ownership of any card artwork or Wizards of the Coast intellectual property.

Grim Bazaar does not generate revenue from the display of Wizards of the Coast imagery. Any fees charged by the platform relate to marketplace services (such as auctions and bundles), not the use of card artwork. If Wizards of the Coast or any rights holder has concerns about the use of their content, please contact us and we will promptly address them.

3. Pricing & Data Sources

Card pricing data is sourced from Scryfall and TCGplayer market prices. Prices are provided for reference only and may not reflect actual market conditions. USD to ZAR conversion rates are fetched from third-party exchange rate APIs and may fluctuate.

Grim Bazaar makes no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of pricing data.

4. User Conduct

By using Grim Bazaar, you agree to:

  • Use the platform in good faith for legitimate card trading and collection management.
  • Not misrepresent the condition, authenticity, or value of cards.
  • Take responsibility for any trades, auctions, or transactions you enter into with other users.
  • Respect other community members and engage in fair dealings.

5. Trades & Transactions

Grim Bazaar provides the platform for users to connect and arrange trades. All trades and transactions are conducted directly between users. Grim Bazaar is not a party to any transaction and bears no responsibility for:

  • The completion or failure of any trade or transaction.
  • The condition, authenticity, or delivery of cards.
  • Any disputes between users.

Users trade at their own risk and are encouraged to exercise due diligence.

6. Account Access

Browsing and purchasing on Grim Bazaar is open to everyone. An account is required for features like wishlists, auctions, and deck building. We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or revoke access to any account at our discretion.

7. Limitation of Liability

Grim Bazaar is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from the use of this platform, including but not limited to lost cards, failed trades, pricing inaccuracies, or data loss.
